Ajax dominate the Bernabéu.

WHAT A GAME. This is what football in known for. This is why people wait eagerly for champions league football. This was something else from the young Ajax side!

Who do we appreciate? Hakim Ziyech? Tadic? Peres? Or that outrageous free kick from Lasse Schone? The whole Ajax team was brilliant. Their shot stopper made some crucial saves early on and that kept them in the game. It was a masterclass from the future midfielder of Barcelona de Jong! De Ligt as well as Daley Blind at the back had amazing games.

Real Madrid begun on the back foot and two first half injuries of Vinicious Junior and Lucas Vasquez really dented their attacking hopes as they forced to bring on Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio. Both of them along with Karim Benzema had their chances in the game, with Asensio getting a goal back but it was a horror performace by Real Madrid overall. They were schooled by the young blood of Ajax who won their first game ever against Real Madrid. They score 4 goals, one more than they had scored against Madrid in their entire history!

Ajax won a knock out tie in the Champions League for the first time ever. A masterclass from Erik ten Hag and his men has knocked out Solaris weakened army who are now out of the Copa del Rey and the Champions League! Marco Asensio had a decent shot at goal and scored but a three on one miss by the Galacticos in the dying minutes of the gamereally summed up the way they played as Modric robbed the Ajax centre half only to square it to Benzema who slipped and a Bale who hit it straight at Onana. A last minute second yellow saw Nacho being sent off as well.

The defending champions are out of the race and on we go to the next fixtures! Join us tomorrow as Porto go in with the deficit of one goal on their home turf and a rejuvenated Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hope to upset the French champions!

Signing off,

Ibraheem Awan.
